Kitchen and Bathroom

The painted area in kitchen and bathroom always expose in high humidity, mould and mildrew can be grown easily on it. In the serious cases when painted surface has high moisture content, it may cause the paint film blistered and peeled off.

Flower Wallshield 3900 Series is highly water repellent. Its dry film can resist water and mild chemicals, and retards carbonation of concrete. It is formulated to provide long-lasting protection as well as to protect from mould growth.

Application Procedures:


1. Surface Preparation
Ensure surface is dry, clean, free from grease and other contaminants.

2. Primer/Undercoat
Primer/undercoat is not needed in general circumstances. Primer may be applied to chalking or porous surfaces by reducing 3 parts of paint to 1 part of Giraffe Mineral Turpentine #424.

3. Reduction Ratio
Not necessary. If required, reduce with Giraffe Mineral Turpentine #424.

4. Topcoat
In general, two coats are required. The minimum recoating lead time is 12 hours.

5. Coverage
10 m2 / 2 coats / litre.
