China Paint Actively Took Part in the 7th Green Carnival To embody the company pledges, China Paint always joins the conservation activities actively, and has already joined and sponsored the Green Carnival for the third consecutive years. The 7th Green Carnvial was held on 31/1/2010 (SUN) in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. During the opening ceremony, the Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Linda Ho presented China Paint's representative, Mr. Romano Chan, with an orchid plant. Through the orchid plants, Green Council expresses their thanks and appreciations to all the Green Carnival participants for thier generous supports and also signifies that conservation needs everyone's concern and actions, just like the orchid plants need watering from time to time. Besides, the government, commercial, political and academic representatives shared their conservation experiences, while some kindergarten students performed an interesting drama in concerning with conservation. The theme of China Paint booth was "Colour with Green Paints" this year. To achieve the purpose of conservation, the booth was decorated with simple materials only, like banner and backdrop poster. Some decoration materials, which made in 2009, were reused this year. Although the decoration was simple, crowds of students and families visited our booth because of the games and souvenirs! We are glad that all visitors felt happy and learnt some green paint information after their visit.
