Quality, Service, Environment Care

Quality and Service are the two major emphases of China Paint management. Besides product enhancement, the Technical Service Department is especially set up to provide prompt services to customers. To contribute our effort to a greener earth, extensive research and development programmes have been carried out to minimize the adverse environmental impacts generated by the use of paint products. These programmes include the development of products that do not use or contain any heavy metal substances; the reduction of the use of solvents, as well as developing water-based paints to replace solvent based products.

China Paint Environmental Policy :

• prohibit strictly the use of toxic harmful substances including Mercury, Lead, Benzene, Formaldehyde, CFCs and Halons;
  
• monitor totally the use of heavy metal compounds to fully meet the international toy safety standard ASTM F963-96a;
  
• forbid strictly the use of mercury-related preservatives and biocides, and replace them with the non-toxic sulphur-nitrogen compounds;
  
• monitor the sewage effluent level of the production facilities to the following safe parameters : pH=6-9, suspension matter <70mg/L, COD<100mg/L;
  
• reduce step by step the VOC (volatile organic compound) content to <100g/L for exterior use latex emulsions and to <60g/L for interior use latex emulsions.
